On the subject of water entertainment, for several years now interactive aquatic playgrounds have certainly been among the most successful, with demand not only from waterparks, but also from campsites, hotels, resorts, swimming pools and other structures. The investment required is much more limited compared to larger attractions, and if the target also includes families with children (unlikely that this is not the case nowadays), they remain popular over time. For children, playing freely with their companions in the water, with splashes, slides, waterfalls, fountains, climbing structures and ‘magic’ swings is really fun. Parents are also happy, as being an aquatic yet safe environment – the water is in fact very shallow, from just a few centimetres to a maximum of 1m – it becomes a fun way to let their children become familiar with water, while they can relax.

Brescia company Acquapark srl is a pioneering company in Italy in the water entertainment sector, including children’s play areas. It started making them back in 1993, and has thus acquired unparalleled experience in the construction and design of these specific attractions, with constant commitment to developing new games, new themes, materials and solutions for individual and collective safety.

We can provide fixed or temporary installations, traditional or even on a simple wet floor (made on site or prefabricated), also known as ‘spray parks’.”

Spray parks installations have in fact been made in recent months by Acquapark for the Ego Club sports facilities in Misano di Gera d’Adda (Bergamo) and the Residence Filanda holiday complex in Riva del Garda (Trento): fun play areas that offer cool, dynamic activities either pool-side, or where there is no pool, using multicoloured stainless steel hoops with splashes, castles with slides and interactive games, fibreglass trees with branches and tipping buckets. “There are infinite possible combinations between the elements, it all depends on the available area. Even with small spaces, however, we can still create pleasant attractions for activities,” Losio stated.
